I am new to Georgetown and the Peacock Cafe was recommended to me from a local. My husband and I had dinner outside with our Jack Russell. We had the seafood jambalaya. The food was good and this would be a restaurant I would go back to. This is not a destination restaurant. The service was great and eating on the sidewalks of Georgetown cannot be beat. Came here and just had a drink. Excellent service and great patio. It is located near M street on a much quieter side street. Yelp 6/15/2018

The drive to Georgetown for breakfast this morning was worth it. Peacock Cafe offers a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items so there were plenty of choices but we went with breakfast food at this American restaurant. My partner ordered a salmon platter and I got steak and eggs. Both dishes were delicious and the service was great; the owner even came by twice to see how we liked everything. The only reason this isn’t a 5-star review is because $16 for smoked salmon on a bagel is a bit pricey.
New to the neighborhood (Georgetown) and went based on the recommendations of several locals. We both had the seafood jambalaya as an entree. the food was tasty, but not memorable. Service was lively and very friendly. This is clearly a neighborhood gathering place with a clientele of all ages. Most of the table I observed the staff knew the customers by name. I would go back for the ambiance. Yelp 7/15/2018
This is a great place for lunch and dinner. We often have our group lunches there. Today we had a 20 person lunch with so much personal attention. The food was fabulous. Great fusion of American, French, Mediterranean. Wine and drink selection really good. Tripadvisor 06/18/2018
